With the holiday season right around the corner, I’m making windowsill herb gardens in the fall, and I’m going to tell you all about them.
This week, I’ve got a lot of fresh flowers to plant.
I’m also going to show you how to make herbs from herbs.
There are many herbs to choose from, but I’m starting with herbs that have been used for centuries and have a lot to offer us as we grow in the seasons ahead.
We’re going to get into herbs that can be used as a source of vitamin B-12, to help combat depression, to treat the symptoms of Crohn’s disease, and to heal skin conditions.
I’ll show you the basics of making herbs from plants, but let’s get to the fun stuff.
Before you plant, take a look at this handy list of herbs to use.
Now that you’ve made your selection, go ahead and fill out this quick survey to see what herbs you’ll need for your windowsill garden.
There’s also a handy list for your herbs, and you can check out my tips on growing them.
For your first windowill herb, make sure you have a variety of different herbs to plant and to harvest.
If you’re making the windowsill plants in the garden, I recommend picking them up from a nursery or from the store, or you can make them yourself at home.
